How it Works
Step 2: The In-Home Design Consultation
The true design work happens in your home. We bring our curated library of premium, trade-only fabrics, hardware samples, and shade materials directly to you.
Seeing fabrics in your own space is critical. A linen that looks warm in a showroom might look cool under your home's specific lighting. During this consultation, we will:
• Review fabric swatches against your existing furniture, paint colors, and rugs.
• Discuss the functional needs of each window (privacy, light control, insulation).
• Explore motorization and smart-home integration options.
• Take preliminary measurements of your windows.
By the end of this meeting, we will have a clear, cohesive design direction for your project.
Step 4: Precision Laser Measurement
Custom window treatments require absolute perfection. A fraction of an inch can be the difference between a shade that operates flawlessly and one that rubs against the window frame.
Before any fabric is cut, our professional installation team will return to your home to take exact, final laser measurements. We assess the depth of your window casings, the structural integrity of the mounting surfaces, and any architectural quirks (like uneven floors or crown molding) that need to be accounted for during fabrication.
Step 6: Flawless Professional Installation
The final step is the most exciting. When your custom treatments are ready, we will schedule an installation day that is convenient for you.
Our professional, insured installers will arrive with all the necessary tools and hardware. They will mount the rods, install the shades, program any motorized systems, and ensure everything operates perfectly. Finally, our design team will steam, dress, and train the drapery fabrics so they hang in perfect, uniform folds.

We will also discuss your timeline and provide a high-level overview of typical investment ranges to ensure we are aligned.
Step 3: The Detailed Proposal & Approval
Following the in-home consultation, our team will develop a comprehensive, itemized proposal. We believe in complete transparency, so your proposal will clearly outline the costs for fabrics, hardware, fabrication, and installation—with no hidden fees or surprises.
Once you review and approve the proposal, we require a deposit to move forward. This officially secures your project on our production calendar.
Step 5: Custom Fabrication
Once the final measurements are confirmed, your order moves into production. Your window treatments are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in our trusted workrooms.
Whether it is hand-stitching the perfect Euro pleat on a silk drapery panel or engineering a motorized roller shade system, this phase requires time and precision. Depending on the materials selected, fabrication typically takes between 6 to 8 weeks. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order throughout this time.
